Heather Maddux

This season marks Heather’s fifth year coaching with Dragon Youth Cheer, but her roots in the program run even deeper. Both of her sons, Holt and Crew, played DYF all the way from kindergarten through 6th grade. Heather’s love for cheer began with her own pee-wee cheer team and carried all the way through her college days as a cheerleader at Baylor University. Today, she is thrilled to share that same passion for the sport with her daughter, Lilla.

Sasha Maykus

Having grown up in Southlake from kindergarten through graduation,  Sasha is a proud Carroll alumna and former high school cheerleader. Now in her 3rd year with Dragon Youth Cheer, she's thrilled to give back to the community that she's always called home. Her favorite part of coaching is seeing the girls’ faces light up as they discover their potential and watch their confidence grow.
